Belly dance
BELLYDANCE - is the ultimate activity for developing fitness, grace, timing and self-esteem. Expand your creative freedom in a safe, supportive and FUN way with lasting results!Characteristic movements in the dance include curving patterns, undulations, thrusts, lifts, locks, and drops, and shaking or quaking body movements. Arms and hands move fluidly, like serpents or ribbons in the air. Unusual strength and control is demonstrated in the belly area.
Contemporary
The different styles within the genre of contemporary dance spring largely from the strong influences of an array of early modern dancers. Depending upon which school or lineage your instructor descends from, you might find that his or her choreography resembles or incorporates specific techniques.
American choreographer Martha Graham technique focuses on contraction and release, giving the dance a dramatic and dynamic quality.
The Cunningham technique is based on the work of Merce Cunningham, a student of Graham’s. Because Cunningham had a particular interest in physics, spirituality and spatiality, the Cunningham technique focuses on the articulation of the body in terms of space, rhythm and shape.

The Limon technique, inspired by the choreographer Jose Limon, emphasises weight, gravity, momentum and suspension by way of falling, rebound and recovery.
Finally, the Release technique explores the releasing of tension, the search for fluidity and the use of energy and breath.
Pilates
This is the basic foundation of all dance forms.
Classes will incorporate barre exercises to develop strength and flexibility as well as centrer work for enhancing grace, poise, emotions, coordination and balance which are emphasised to understand your bodies and learn varying levels of movement. Pilates strongly recommended for all dancers to take in addition to other techniques.
Zumba
Zumba Fitness is the only Latin-inspired dance-fitness program that blends red-hot international music, created by Grammy Award-winning producers, and contagious steps to form a "fitness-party" that is downright addictive.
Since its inception in 2001, the Zumba program has grown to become the world's largest – and most successful – dance-fitness program with more than 12 million people of all shapes, sizes and ages taking weekly Zumba classes in over 110,000 locations across more than 125 countries.
Zumba – When participants see a Zumba class in action, they can’t wait to give it a try. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.
